Certificate

To receive a certificate of participation from the institute, the participants need to fulfil the minimum requirement of 80% attendance. Absence from any session needs to be with the prior approval of the programme faculty chair.

  • Prof. Pankaj Setia
    Ph.D, Information Systems Management,
    Eli Broad College of Management, Michigan State University

    Prof. Pankaj Setia heads the Center for Digital Transformation at IIMA and teaches strategic management of digital innovations in graduate, executive education and doctoral programmes. He has published in the top information systems and business journals including the Financial Times top 50 Journals in two domains: 1) IT strategy and governance, and 2) Open source software. His broader research interests include business analytics and artificial intelligence, IT strategy, digital innovations, neuroscientific theories, computational models of sentiment analysis and IT Governance, and open-source innovations. He has advised multiple Ph.D. students most of whom are working in US universities. He has been invited to give research talks or keynote speeches by premier universities across different countries, such as India, Chile, the United States of America, and Singapore.

  • Prof. Amit Karna
    Ph.D, Strategic Management,
    Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad

    Amit Karna is an Associate Professor of Strategy at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA). His interests lie in the areas of strategic management, technology management, innovation, and entrepreneurship. He has advised government and private organizations (in India and abroad) on strategy and management related issues. Amit currently serves as the Placement Chair at IIMA. Between 2015-2018, he chaired the Centre for Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship (CIIE) one of the largest and most well-regarded educational institute based business incubators in Asia. Amit served as the Chair of Strategy Area between 2017-2020. He has presented over 50 papers at various international conferences across the world. His research has been published in leading international journals.

  • Prof. Ankur Sinha
    Ph.D, Quantitative Methods,
    Aalto University School of Business, Helsinki, Finland

    Ankur Sinha is an Associate Professor at IIM Ahmedabad and the Chairperson of the Centre for Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship (CIIE.CO). He completed his PhD from Helsinki School of Economics (Now: Aalto University School of Business) where his PhD thesis was adjudged as the best dissertation of the year. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur. In the past, he has been a visiting professor at Michigan State University and Aalto University School of Business. He has published his research in some of the leading Business, Computer Science and Statistics journals, in the areas of Optimization, Artificial Intelligence and Decision Making. Along with teaching and research, he is actively involved in mentoring startups, and consulting private and government organizations.

Alumni Association

Participants who are attending short-duration Executive Education Programmes for the first time, on or after April 1, 2012, will have to attend a total of 21 days in one or more programmes to be eligible for alumni status and alumni identity card, both of which will be awarded on payment of one-time alumni fee of AED 500.

  • Last date to submit applications: January 09, 2021
  • Early Bird Discount Cut-off date: December 19, 2020
  • Receipt of payments: No later than January 16, 2021
  • Course inauguration and first class: January 29, 2021

Programme Details

  • Dates: Programme will start on January 29. Thereafter, online classes will be scheduled on Fridays and Saturdays for a maximum of 4 consecutive weekends.
  • Online Sessions: 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM UAEST on consecutive Fridays and Saturdays for 5 weeks

Programme Fee

AED 7,350 Fee includes tuition fee, course material and certificate. Applicable taxes (5% VAT) extra. Full payment: AED 7,715.50 (Receipt of the payment no later than jan 15, 2021)

Discounts

  • Early Bird Discount: Nominations received with payments on or before December 19, 2020 will be entitled to an early bird discount of 7%. Discounted fee including 5% VAT – AED 7,177.27
  • Early submission does not, however, guarantee acceptance of application.
  • Group Discount: Group of 4 of more participants will be entitled to a discount of 10%.
  • Organisations can avail themselves of both the discounts subject to a maximum overall discount of 10%.

Refunds

  • After payment of the fee, in case the participant wishes to drop out of the programme, the fee will be refunded only if a request is received at least 15 days prior to the start of the programme.
  • In case a participant cannot attend the programme after the payment of programme fee, the same amount will be valid as a credit amount for utilization for the next two years, after which the fee will lapse. The organization/individual can nominate the same participant or another participant for the same programme or any other programme accordingly for the next two years, failing which the amount will lapse.
  • If a nomination is not accepted, the fee will be refunded to the person/organization concerned.
  • In all other cases fee is non-refundable
